Elimination of stocks of the system: Remove the nut, with 15 mm wrench or socket, of the band clamp in front of scarf. Remove the rear exhaust rubber hangers, remove the bottom shock bolt to the rear of the truck and separate the stock exhaust at the slip to the common pot.
Remove the muffler and tail pipe from under the truck, re-install the shock bolt down. Remove the extension tube to the flange using 15 mm deep socket. Remove the pipe down, under the hood to remove the band 11 millimeters with a caliper turbo then cut the pipe in front transmission cross member to remove.
(Note: The stock down-pipe can be removed in one piece, eliminating the transmission cross member, Inc. MBRP recommends that this procedure can be performed only by qualified professionals using the tools and safety equipment designed for the carry out this process.)
Installing Performance Inc. MBRP Exhaust Install down-pipe, flare side turbo using stock band clamp. Do not tighten fully until all components are in place. Install the Mid-pipe with pre-welded hangers OEM rubber hangers located on the frame. Install the pipe extends down-pipe, including a 34 “extension to accommodate everyone. (Installation tip: Temporarily hang the muffler and tail pipe in place using two OEM rubber hangers and measure the middle of the tube to determine the length needed, cut, if necessary)
Install the extension beyond muffler (s), the pot core can flow both directions. If you install the core with the spiral flow towards the openings will be quiet outside the exhaust pipe approximately ½ db strong inside the cab. If you are installing the muffler with the core opening in front to the back of the truck will be approx. ½ db quiet inside the cabin and to allow the audio output to the tailpipe.
